Day 10

Travelled overnight, a distance of 120 miles. Seas during the night were 1.5 mtr swell, mainly on our starboard bow, causing the boat to rock and roll. Winds from the NNE at 14 knots. Boat speed between 5.5 and 6 knots. All good.

Pretty tough going but no problems. Punching into northerly winds at 19-20 knots with 2/3 meter swell. Just rocking a bit…. well a fair bit. 70 miles to go. Puts us in Sydney now at 0500 tomorrow.

Making very good progress! Incidentally my sister and her man are up the top end of Oz heading for Darwin! Symmetry!

Toni is heading for Sydney by air on Sunday to begin her ocean odyssey. Hope the seas are not quite so spikey!

O and Cap’n Trevor says Captain Cook would have given up his best cabin boy to have the navigation equipment that’s aboard Blue Dolphin! Funny & reassuring! Photo is of Black Rock, NSW!

You’re making me green! (That’s envious, not sea sick). Keep living the dream Ronnie. Keep safe.
